Welcome Back to School – September 2026

We are excited to welcome our students back to school on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. We hope you enjoyed a wonderful summer and are looking forward to another great year of learning, growth, and community.

Below is important information about our first week back at school.

First Day of School – Tuesday, September 8

Students in Session: 8:31 – 10:31 am

Returning Elementary Students (Grades 1 – 5) will report to their previous year’s classroom and enter through the exterior classroom doors.

New Students in Grades 1 - 5 will report to the Learning Commons (Library) using the exterior door at the back of the school.  Staff will be there to welcome students and help them find their way.

Grade 6 Students will gather in the Small Gym. Exterior gym doors will open at the bell.

Grades 7 & 8 Students will gather in the Large Gym. Exterior gym doors will also open at the bell.

Second Day of School – Wednesday, September 9 (Day 1)

Full Day Session: 8:31 am – 2:31 pm  (First Warning Bell: 8:26 am)

Elementary Students (Grades 1 – 5) will begin the day in their previous year’s classroom. New elementary students will report to the classroom assigned to them on Tuesday. Students will remain with their grade-level group for the day and will be dismissed from the classroom where they finish the day.

Please arrange a designated meeting place with your child for after-school pickup (for example, the swings, treehouse playground, or another agreed-upon outdoor location).

Beginning Thursday, students will enter through the same exterior door they used when leaving on Wednesday.

Middle School Students (Grades 6-8) will report directly to their new homeroom class and begin their regular Day 1 / Day 2 schedule rotations.

School Supplies

School supplies for Kindergarten to Grade 5 students have been purchased by the school.

In September, families will be asked to contribute to the cost of these supplies:

  • Kindergarten: $60

  • Grades 1 – 5:  $65

Supply fees can be paid online through SD33 QuickPay, available on our school website. Payment information and instructions for using QuickPay will be emailed home once classes are finalized.

For students in Grades 6-8, families are asked to refer to the posted grade-level supply lists available on our school website under School Information > School Supply Lists.

It is important that all students are organized and prepared for learning. Please ensure that all required school supplies are ready and brought to the school by the second day of classes (September 9).

Additional teacher-specific supplies may be requested. Students will be informed of any additional items during the first few weeks of September.

Please note: Classes who plan to use the school planners in Grades 3 – 8 will have an $8 fee added to their account.

Student Association Contribution

Families will be invited to contribute to our Student Association, which helps support valuable opportunities and activities for all students throughout the school year.

These contributions help fund extracurricular activities and intramurals, guest speakers, student leadership initiatives, school-wide community-building events, activity afternoons, social events, student ID cards, locker & lock rentals, awards and recognition programs, and student incentives and celebrations.

Student Association Contributions: Kindergarten to Grade 5: $25 / Grades 6 – 8: $35

Athletics

Athletic fees apply only to students who choose to participate on school sports teams. These fees help subsidize the costs of transportation, athletic association fees, jerseys, referees, and tournament entry. Participation is optional.

Parent Advisory Council (PAC) Contribution

An optional PAC contribution is also available. These funds help support additional learning opportunities and experiences for students throughout the school year.

Other Important Information

In accordance with District Administrative Procedure 318: Student Cell Phone and Digital Device Use, student cell phones will be collected by the teachers at the beginning of each school day and stored securely until dismissal.
